Finalto has appointed Brian Chong as Head of Sales, Asia, strengthening its regional leadership team as the company continues to expand its institutional offering across the Asian markets.
Based in Singapore, Chong will lead and build out Finalto’s Asia sales team, reporting to Alex Mackinnon, CEO Asia Pacific at Finalto. In his new role, he will focus on new client acquisition, account growth, and strengthening relationships with brokers, banks, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and professional investors across the region.
Chong brings more than a decade of experience in financial markets, commercial strategy, and institutional sales. Before joining Finalto, he spent around 12 years at Investment Trends, where he held senior commercial roles and most recently served as Head of Sales & Commercial – International. He has also previously worked at CommSec, giving him a strong background across brokerage, trading, and financial services distribution.
Finalto provides liquidity, risk management, prime brokerage, and trading technology solutions to financial institutions and trading businesses. The company supports retail brokers, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and professional investors with access to deep multi-asset liquidity, white-label trading infrastructure, and real-time risk tools.
Chong’s appointment comes at a time when demand for institutional-grade trading infrastructure, reliable liquidity, and advanced risk management solutions continues to grow across Asia. His experience in building client relationships and scaling commercial operations is expected to support Finalto’s expansion strategy and strengthen its position in the region.
The move reflects Finalto’s continued focus on growing its footprint in Asia by combining technology, liquidity, and market expertise. With Chong leading sales across the region, the company aims to deepen client connectivity and deliver more tailored solutions to brokers, funds, banks, and professional trading clients.
