HFM has appointed Mohamed Elgayyar as Head of GCC and Egypt, strengthening the global forex and CFD broker’s regional leadership across the Middle East and North Africa.
Elgayyar recently joined HFM to oversee the company’s business across Egypt and the Gulf Cooperation Council markets, which include Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The appointment adds a dedicated regional executive to HFM’s expanding MENA structure.
In his new role, Elgayyar is expected to focus on business growth, partnership development and strengthening HFM’s presence across both Egypt and the GCC.
Elgayyar brings more than 17 years of experience in the forex and financial markets industry, with much of his career focused on sales, customer relations and business development across MENA.
Before joining HFM, he served as Regional Sales Manager at GODO. Earlier, he worked at FxPro as Country Manager for Egypt, adding further experience in managing brokerage operations and commercial growth in the Egyptian market.
His wider career has also included senior roles at OW Markets, Orbex and InvestAZ, where he worked across international business development, partnerships, sales management and client retention in Egypt, North Africa, the GCC and other regional markets.
Elgayyar’s appointment comes as HFM continues building out its regional management structure.
The broker has made several leadership appointments across MENA, including the promotion of Michalis Papacostas to Regional Head for MENA and the appointment of Jean Nahas in the UAE.
The addition of Elgayyar gives HFM a dedicated executive focused specifically on Egypt and the GCC, two strategically important areas for the online trading industry.
His appointment marks the latest step in HFM’s efforts to expand its regional operations, build stronger partnerships and deepen its presence across key Middle Eastern markets.
