UAE-based FX and CFD broker Daman Markets has hired Srijan Katyal as Chief Commercial Officer, bringing a senior executive with more than a decade of experience at ADSS into its leadership team.
Katyal spent around 11 years with ADSS, ending his tenure as Global Head of Strategy & Trading Services, where his responsibilities placed him close to the broker’s trading, strategy and commercial operations. He had held that position since 2022.
At Daman Markets, Katyal joins a broker focused on the UAE and GCC retail trading market. The company is licensed by the UAE Capital Market Authority to act as a Trading Broker of OTC Derivatives and Currencies in the Spot Market, making the appointment directly relevant to the regional FX and CFD industry.
Daman Markets has already publicly identified Katyal as its Chief Commercial Officer in recent company activity, confirming that he has begun operating in the role.
The broker launched in 2023 and has been building its trading proposition around MetaTrader 5, forex and CFDs while expanding its regional brand and commercial footprint.
For Daman Markets, the addition of an executive with Katyal’s long-standing MENA brokerage experience strengthens its senior commercial team as competition among UAE-based trading firms continues to intensify.
