Invesco has hired Tim Clavin from BlackRock as Deputy Head of ETF Capital Markets, Americas, adding an experienced ETF trading specialist to its capital-markets team.
Based in New York, Clavin joins after serving as a vice president at BlackRock, where his responsibilities included ETF trading solutions for institutional and wealth-management clients and sales teams.
His background also includes approximately a decade at Vanguard. Clavin joined the firm in 2015 through its accelerated development program and later held roles across investment products, including fixed income product management.
The appointment adds further experience to Invesco’s ETF market structure and liquidity operations at a time when ETFs are playing an increasingly important role in institutional portfolio construction and trading. Invesco itself continues to highlight ETFs as strategic tools for institutional investors, including for liquidity and implementation efficiency.
The move follows Invesco’s August appointment of Daniel Skora as Head of ETF Capital Markets for Asia-Pacific, suggesting continued expansion of the firm’s ETF capital-markets leadership across regions.
