Architect Financial Technologies and Apex Fintech Solutions have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) outlining plans to integrate Architect’s American Innovation Exchange with Apex’s brokerage infrastructure, potentially giving participating brokerage firms access to a new range of US-listed derivatives.
Under the preliminary agreement, Apex correspondent brokerages would be able to offer eligible products listed on Architect’s American Innovation Exchange, or AI Exchange, including futures, options, perpetual futures and related derivatives.
Architect plans to provide the technical components required for the integration, including APIs, SDKs, FIX connectivity, documentation and engineering support. The two companies also intend to collaborate on the development of additional exchange-traded derivatives based on demand identified across Apex’s brokerage network.
Apex said its infrastructure supports more than 200 brokerage firms and over 42 million end customers, giving the proposed integration a potentially broad distribution channel if it moves forward as planned.
The AI Exchange is being developed by Architect following its acquisition of IMX Health LLC, a US Designated Contract Market, in May 2026. Architect said the venue is intended to list derivatives tied to areas of the AI economy, including compute, inference, memory, critical minerals, power, foreign currencies and related equities.
The agreement remains a preliminary collaboration rather than a completed product launch. No new perpetual futures or options have yet been made available to Apex customers under the MOU, and the proposed offering remains subject to technical implementation, applicable regulations and regulatory approvals
