Axcera has entered into a strategic partnership with prediction market infrastructure provider Plaee, expanding the range of trading experiences available to proprietary trading firms using Axcera’s technology.
Under the partnership, Axcera has integrated Plaee’s SimTrader product into its infrastructure, allowing prop firms and brokers to offer simulated prediction market trading to their users without having to build a separate exchange or trading system.
The integration enables traders to take positions on yes-or-no outcomes linked to a wide range of markets and events, including equities, cryptocurrencies, forex, interest rates and commodities.
Because the product operates using simulated capital, it can be incorporated into prop trading evaluations, challenges and other trader assessment programs while allowing firms to introduce prediction-style markets within their existing infrastructure.
Axcera said the integration is designed to help firms launch branded prediction market experiences within weeks, using the same systems already in place for trader management, risk controls, payouts and operational workflows.
The company also said firms powered by its technology currently serve more than two million traders and process over 250,000 new trading accounts each month.
Herman Shaho, Co-Founder of Axcera, said the partnership gives prop firms another way to differentiate their offerings while responding to growing interest in prediction-based trading products.
Plaee Co-Founder and CEO Leon Okun said the collaboration combines Plaee’s prediction market infrastructure with Axcera’s established prop trading technology, creating a more accessible route for firms looking to add the product category.
The partnership comes as prop trading providers continue to broaden their product offerings beyond traditional forex, CFDs and futures, with trading technology firms increasingly focusing on new formats and more flexible trader engagement tools.
