Pepperstone has reported double-digit growth in revenue and new client activity in a rare mid-year business update, alongside a sharp increase in trading volumes.
According to CEO Tamas Szabo, trading volumes at the broker increased by around 30%, while the number of new clients completing their first trades rose 40% year-on-year.
The company also recorded double-digit revenue growth, reflecting stronger activity across both established markets and regions where Pepperstone has been expanding its presence.
The update provides an unusual interim look at the performance of the privately held FX and CFD broker, which has continued to invest in geographic expansion, technology and product development.
Pepperstone has been increasing its presence in the Middle East, including through its expansion in the UAE, while also developing its wider digital asset offering and technology infrastructure.
The broker has continued to strengthen its senior technology leadership as part of this strategy, with recent investments focused on engineering, artificial intelligence and improving its trading infrastructure.
The rise in client activity and trading volumes comes as retail brokers continue to compete for market share through broader product offerings, faster technology and expansion into new regulated jurisdictions.
Pepperstone’s latest figures suggest the company is maintaining growth across several key performance indicators as it continues its international expansion.
