AvaTrade Appoints NAGA and Finalto Veteran Jeremy Schlachter as CFO

AvaTrade has appointed Jeremy Schlachter as its new Chief Financial Officer, bringing an experienced financial executive with an extensive background across online trading, brokerage and financial technology to the company’s senior leadership team.

Schlachter joins AvaTrade after serving as Chief Financial Officer of NAGA Group, where he was involved in the financial leadership of the Germany-listed fintech and online brokerage business.

Before joining NAGA, Schlachter held several senior positions across the trading technology industry. He previously served as Group CFO at Finalto, the financial trading division formerly owned by Playtech, and also spent more than a decade at Playtech, including as Vice President of Finance.

His career has also included a period as CFO of gaming technology company Skywind Group, giving him experience across publicly listed companies, trading infrastructure and technology-led businesses.

At AvaTrade, Schlachter succeeds Sari Hemmendinger in the CFO position and will take responsibility for the financial leadership of one of the established global online trading brands.

Announcing his appointment, Schlachter said he was excited to join AvaTrade and work alongside the company's leadership team as the broker continues to pursue its growth ambitions.

The appointment adds another experienced brokerage executive to AvaTrade's senior management as the company continues developing its international operations across forex, CFDs and other financial markets.

Schlachter's previous experience at NAGA and Finalto is particularly relevant to his new position, with both businesses operating within the broader online trading and financial technology ecosystem.
