eToro Launches AI Connectors for ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Grok Bot

eToro has launched new artificial intelligence connectors for ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Grok Bot, enabling investors to access their trading account information and analyze their portfolios directly through supported AI assistants.

Announced on October 8, 2026, the launch represents another step in eToro's strategy to integrate artificial intelligence into retail investing, bringing portfolio analysis and investment-related workflows into the tools customers already use for research, planning and decision-making.

The connectors are built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a technology standard that allows AI applications to connect with external platforms and data sources. Investors can link their eToro accounts to supported AI assistants without requiring programming knowledge, API keys or complex technical configurations.

Once connected, users can ask AI assistants questions about their actual investments, including portfolio holdings, open positions, account balances and historical performance. Instead of relying on manually entered information or hypothetical examples, the tools can work with account-specific data to provide more relevant analysis.

eToro has introduced different permission options to give investors control over how their accounts interact with AI applications. Users can select read-only access for research and portfolio analysis or, where supported, enable access that allows an assistant to propose account actions.

Any proposed transaction or other supported action must be reviewed and approved by the investor. Deposits and withdrawals remain within eToro's platform rather than being processed through the AI conversation.

The company also allows users to pause or disconnect their AI integrations at any time. Investors interested in exploring the technology can begin with basic account queries or test available workflows using a demo account.

Yoni Assia, Co-Founder and CEO of eToro, described the development as part of a broader shift in investment technology, where artificial intelligence increasingly supports how individuals research markets, evaluate their holdings and make financial decisions.

According to Assia, the next stage of investing technology will focus on combining human judgment with AI-powered intelligence while maintaining investor control over financial decisions.

The launch comes as retail investors demonstrate growing interest in artificial intelligence. eToro's latest Retail Investor Beat survey found that 56% of respondents either already use or are open to using AI tools, including ChatGPT and AI agents, to help select or adjust investments.

The survey covered 11,000 retail investors across 13 countries, reflecting increasing interest in AI-supported financial research and portfolio management.

Guy Barkat, Director of API Partnerships at eToro, emphasized the importance of making portfolio information accessible through familiar AI tools while preserving transparency, user permissions and approval requirements.

The new connectors are available through selected AI platform connector directories, with additional listings planned. Where a direct listing is unavailable, supported users can configure a custom connection, with guidance available through eToro's AI investing assistant, Tori.

Capabilities and availability vary depending on the AI assistant and applicable regulatory requirements. The connectors are not currently available to eToro customers in the United States, Australia or Singapore.

The launch reflects growing competition among online trading platforms to incorporate AI into portfolio management, market research and investment workflows.

For eToro, connecting its investment platform with widely used AI assistants extends its existing AI strategy and supports the development of more personalized trading experiences, where investors can access portfolio information and evaluate potential decisions through conversational interfaces.

The development also highlights the increasing importance of AI integrations in the retail brokerage sector as trading platforms explore new ways to combine financial data, automated analysis and user-controlled investment tools.
