Rimes, a provider of enterprise data management and investment intelligence solutions, has appointed Tigran Khrimian as Chief Technology Officer, strengthening its leadership as the company advances its cloud technology, data infrastructure and artificial intelligence capabilities.
Khrimian will oversee Rimes' global technology strategy, including platform modernization, engineering development and the integration of AI capabilities into its services for institutional investment firms.
He joins Rimes after more than two decades at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), where he most recently served as Chief Technology Engineering Officer.
During his time at FINRA, Khrimian contributed to major technology transformation initiatives involving cloud infrastructure, enterprise data systems and engineering modernization.
He also played an important role in developing the US Consolidated Audit Trail, a large-scale regulatory data system designed to support the monitoring and analysis of securities transactions across American financial markets.
At Rimes, Khrimian will help advance the company's Intelligence Fabric for Capital Markets, an initiative designed to connect investment data, workflows and analytics within a unified technology environment.
His responsibilities will include supporting the migration of the company's platform capabilities to Databricks and developing scalable infrastructure for new data management and AI-driven applications.
Rimes Chief Executive Officer Vijay Mayadas said Khrimian's experience in complex financial technology environments would be valuable as the company accelerates its cloud-native transformation and expands its investment intelligence services.
The appointment comes as asset managers, institutional investors and financial service providers face increasing demands for accurate market data, stronger operational efficiency and more advanced analytical capabilities.
Rimes provides technology and data services used by institutional investment organizations to manage financial information and support investment decision-making.
With Khrimian leading its technology strategy, the company aims to strengthen its engineering capabilities and develop new services that combine enterprise data management with advanced analytics and artificial intelligence.
The appointment reflects the growing importance of specialized technology leadership in capital markets, particularly as financial institutions modernize their infrastructure and integrate AI into investment workflows.
