Devexperts, a global provider of financial software and trading technology, has appointed Rainer Fuchsluger as Global Group CEO, effective immediately, as the company looks to accelerate its international expansion and further develop its fintech portfolio.
Fuchsluger brings more than 25 years of international experience across financial software, market data, exchange technology and capital markets infrastructure, as well as expertise in artificial intelligence. His career includes senior leadership positions at major financial and technology organizations including LSEG, Wolters Kluwer, SS&C and Thomson Reuters.
The appointment comes at an important stage in Devexperts’ development as the company approaches its 25th anniversary in 2027. The firm currently employs more than 800 people across 10 offices worldwide, while its technology supports more than 20 million traders on a daily basis.
In his new role, Fuchsluger will oversee the group’s global strategy and expansion, with a focus on strengthening Devexperts’ technology offering across the investment and trading lifecycle. The company provides solutions to brokers, banks, exchanges and wealth-management firms across international markets.
His appointment also comes as financial institutions increase their investment in cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, market data and digital trading technology. These developments are reshaping how brokers and other market participants build platforms, process information and provide services to their clients.
Devexperts expects Fuchsluger’s experience across major international financial centers to support the next phase of its growth, particularly as the company seeks to broaden its presence and expand the range of technology and services available to institutional and retail-focused financial businesses.
Michael Babushkin, founder of Devexperts, said Fuchsluger’s knowledge of global financial markets and experience scaling technology businesses would help the company build on its existing capabilities and pursue its international growth ambitions.
Fuchsluger succeeds Ben Hurley, who is leaving Devexperts to pursue new opportunities after more than four years with the company, including the past two years as CEO. The leadership transition positions Devexperts for its next phase as demand for sophisticated trading infrastructure, data solutions and AI-enabled financial technology continues to develop globally.
