Taurex has launched Gold 24/7 (XAUUSD247), a dedicated gold CFD instrument that allows eligible clients to open, manage and close positions throughout the week, including weekends.
The product is available on both MetaTrader 5 and the Taurex App and is separate from Taurex’s standard XAUUSD instrument. It runs on the same MT5 account as the broker’s other products, allowing traders to manage their gold exposure alongside forex, stocks, indices and other markets.
Gold 24/7 is quoted from Monday to Sunday, 00:05 to 23:55 server time (UTC+3), with a short daily maintenance pause. Taurex also states that weekend liquidity is typically lower than during weekday sessions, which can result in wider spreads and different execution conditions.
According to Taurex’s published specifications, the product carries a 2% margin requirement, equivalent to leverage of around 1:50, with a contract size of 100 ounces. The instrument is commission-free on a spread-based pricing model, while overnight swap charges apply.
The product also supports Expert Advisors, automated scripts and standard MT5 order types, allowing clients to use automated trading tools without requiring a separate platform setup.
The launch adds Taurex to a growing group of brokers offering continuous gold CFD trading as demand increases for access to precious-metals markets outside standard weekday sessions.
