CMC Funded Launches $100,000 Simulated Trading Evaluation Programme

CMC Markets has expanded into the trader evaluation space with the public launch of CMC Funded, a simulated proprietary trading programme offering participants access to $100,000 simulated trading accounts.

The programme, which became publicly accessible on October 1, is designed to assess traders under predefined performance targets and risk parameters. Participants trade in a simulated environment rather than with live capital, allowing their trading performance and risk management to be evaluated under structured conditions.

CMC Funded operates separately from CMC Markets' regulated brokerage businesses and does not provide live brokerage accounts, hold client funds, execute customer trades or arrange investments. All trading activity conducted through the programme is simulated.

Traders who successfully complete the evaluation can receive a Verified Trader badge, providing a record of their performance within the programme. Successful participants may also become eligible for an interview opportunity through Verichain, CMC Funded's first referral partner.

The programme provides exposure to a range of global markets within its simulated environment, combining trading evaluation with structured risk controls.

CMC Markets initially announced CMC Funded on September 28 ahead of its October 1 public launch. The initiative represents the group's entry into the growing trader evaluation segment while maintaining a clear separation between the simulated programme and its regulated financial services operations.
