Scope Markets Appoints Mahmoud Awad as Head of Business Development for MENA

Forex and CFD brokerage Scope Markets has appointed Mahmoud Awad as Head of Business Development for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), strengthening its regional commercial leadership.

Based in Dubai, Awad joined Scope Markets in August 2026 from M4Markets, where he previously served as Regional Sales Manager in the United Arab Emirates. His appointment was publicly reported on October 27.

Awad brings extensive experience in the brokerage industry, having previously held positions at DB Investing, Doo Prime and TopFX. His background includes brokerage sales, client relationship management, business development and regional market expansion.

In his new role, Awad is expected to focus on identifying growth opportunities, developing strategic partnerships and strengthening Scope Markets' commercial relationships across MENA.

The appointment comes amid increasing competition among international brokerage firms seeking to expand their presence in the region. Growing demand for online trading services and access to global financial markets continues to create opportunities for brokers with established local networks and regional expertise.

For Scope Markets, the appointment supports its efforts to strengthen its business development capabilities and enhance its competitive position in key Middle Eastern and North African markets.

Scope Markets provides access to forex, contracts for difference (CFDs) and other financial instruments through its international brokerage operations.
