Indonesia stocks lower at close of trade; IDX Composite Index down 0.29%

 Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.29% to hit a new 3-months low.

The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Saranacentral Bajatama Tbk (JK:BAJA), which rose 29.47% or 28.00 points to trade at 123.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional (JK:JSPT) added 25.00% or 1,090.00 points to end at 5,450.00 and Daaz Bara Lestari Tbk PT (JK:DAAZ) was up 16.85% or 450.00 points to 3,120.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK), which fell 25.00% or 1.00 points to trade at 3.00 at the close. Multipolar Technology Tbk (JK:MLPT) declined 19.98% or 6,400.00 points to end at 25,625.00 and Asuransi Bintang Tbk (JK:ASBI) was down 18.46% or 120.00 points to 530.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 439 to 215 and 172 ended unchanged.

Shares in Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional (JK:JSPT) rose to all time highs; gaining 25.00% or 1,090.00 to 5,450.00. Shares in Daaz Bara Lestari Tbk PT (JK:DAAZ) rose to all time highs; gaining 16.85% or 450.00 to 3,120.00. Shares in Asuransi Bintang Tbk (JK:ASBI) fell to 52-week lows; losing 18.46% or 120.00 to 530.00.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.18% or 0.12 to $67.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.23% or 0.16 to hit $71.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 20.60 to trade at $2,590.70 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was down 0.24% to 15,859.40, while AUD/IDR fell 0.35% to 10,239.43.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 106.62.
