CXM Secures SERC Licence No. 042 in Cambodia

CXM has obtained Licence No. 042 from the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC), strengthening the broker’s regulatory presence in Southeast Asia and marking another step in its expansion across the Asia-Pacific region.

The licence allows CXM to further develop its activities in Cambodia under the country’s local regulatory framework. The company said the milestone reflects its focus on responsible growth, regulatory compliance and maintaining high standards of client service.

Cambodia has become an increasingly relevant market within Southeast Asia’s financial sector, and CXM views the country as part of its longer-term regional growth strategy.

CXM Strengthens Its Presence in Cambodia

According to CXM, the SERC authorisation provides a stronger regulatory foundation for its local operations and enables the company to expand its presence in line with applicable Cambodian laws and requirements.

The company’s regulatory page identifies CXM Co. Ltd. as the entity licensed and regulated by SERC under reference number 042 N.M.K.

Alex Chua, Country Manager at CXM, described the licence as an important milestone for the company and said CXM sees strong potential in the Cambodian market.

He added that the company intends to build a long-term presence in the country with a focus on transparency, service quality and regulatory compliance.

Part of a Wider Asia-Pacific Expansion

The Cambodia licence also supports CXM’s wider efforts to expand its regulated footprint across international markets.

Founded in 2015, CXM operates across retail, institutional and B2B financial services and provides trading services across multiple asset classes. The group maintains regulated entities in several jurisdictions, including Seychelles and the United Kingdom.

The addition of Cambodia gives the company another regulated base from which to build relationships with local clients and partners while strengthening its presence in Asia.

CXM said it will continue developing its international infrastructure while maintaining its focus on regulatory standards, compliance and client service across the markets in which it operates.

With Licence No. 042 now secured, CXM is positioning Cambodia as an important part of its longer-term Asia-Pacific growth strategy while continuing to expand its regulated operations internationally.
