StablecoinX Appoints Christopher Jensen as Chief Executive Officer

StablecoinX has appointed Christopher Jensen as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 8, 2026, bringing a veteran institutional investor and digital asset specialist into the company’s top executive role. Jensen has also joined StablecoinX’s Board of Directors and its Investment Committee.

Jensen succeeds Ted Chen, who led StablecoinX through its public listing in June 2026. Chen will remain Chairman of the Board, where he will continue to focus on long-term strategy, capital markets positioning and the company’s relationship with Ethena.

Two Decades of Institutional Investment Experience

Jensen joins StablecoinX after more than 11 years at Franklin Templeton, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager and Director of Digital Asset Research.

He was also a founding member of Franklin Templeton’s digital asset group, which was launched in 2018, and played a role in investment strategy, research, product development and commercialization across the firm’s digital asset activities.

Before Franklin Templeton, Jensen worked at SLR Capital Partners, an alternative asset manager focused on areas including asset-based lending, cash-flow lending and specialty finance. He holds an MBA from Yale School of Management and a degree from Princeton University.

Leading StablecoinX’s Next Phase

As CEO, Jensen will take responsibility for StablecoinX’s day-to-day operations across its three main business areas: Infrastructure Services, Infrastructure Software and Distribution Services.

He will also oversee the company’s treasury strategy, which currently includes approximately 3.03 billion ENA tokens, representing around 20% of the token’s total supply. StablecoinX describes itself as the largest corporate holder of Ethena’s governance token.

StablecoinX trades on Nasdaq under the ticker USDE and is focused on building infrastructure around the Ethena digital dollar ecosystem.

Jensen said his priority will be to turn the company’s position within the Ethena ecosystem into sustainable business results, with a focus on building revenue-generating infrastructure, strengthening the strategic relationship with Ethena and maintaining institutional standards in its communication with public-market investors.

The appointment gives StablecoinX a chief executive with experience across traditional asset management, public markets and digital assets, as the company moves into its next phase following its Nasdaq listing.
