StoneX Group has appointed Ben Kleimunt as Director – FX Sales, strengthening its foreign exchange sales team with an experienced professional from Sucden Financial. The move forms part of StoneX’s continued development of its institutional FX business and client coverage capabilities.
Kleimunt joins StoneX after building extensive experience across electronic foreign exchange and precious metals sales at Sucden Financial. His previous role involved working with institutional clients across FX and precious metals markets, giving him a strong background in liquidity, market access, and relationship management.
The appointment comes as StoneX continues to expand its institutional foreign exchange offering.
StoneX provides clients with access to a broad range of FX products and services, including spot FX, forwards, swaps, non-deliverable forwards and options. Through StoneX Pro, the group offers institutional-grade liquidity and market access across more than 40 currencies, supported by trading technology, execution services, and risk management solutions.
Kleimunt’s experience working with institutional clients is expected to support StoneX’s efforts to deepen relationships with financial institutions, corporates, brokers and other professional market participants.
Experience Across FX and Precious Metals
Before joining StoneX, Kleimunt was part of the FX team at Sucden Financial, where he held a senior sales role focused on eFX and precious metals.
He has also been active within the wider precious metals industry. Kleimunt has served on the London Bullion Market Association’s Membership Committee, further reflecting his involvement in the institutional precious metals market.
His background across both FX and metals adds relevant experience to StoneX, which operates across multiple asset classes and provides global market access, execution, clearing and liquidity services.
StoneX Group is a publicly traded financial services company offering access to global markets across foreign exchange, commodities, securities, derivatives and payments.
The company says its FX network connects clients to approximately 185 foreign exchange markets, while its broader institutional platform provides liquidity, execution and risk-management services to businesses and financial institutions worldwide.
Kleimunt’s appointment comes alongside StoneX’s recruitment of other experienced FX professionals, reinforcing the company’s focus on expanding its sales capabilities and institutional client relationships.
As Director – FX Sales, Ben Kleimunt will now contribute to StoneX’s institutional foreign exchange business, bringing his experience in eFX, precious metals and client relationship management to the group’s global market operations.
