The Kenyan shilling remained unchanged on Thursday, as low importer demand for the U.S. dollar helped maintain its stability.

Commercial banks quoted the shilling at 129.00/50, identical to Wednesday’s closing rate.

The currency’s stability was largely a result of reduced demand for the dollar among importers.
