Oracle expands its presence in Germany with a massive investment in artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure

Oracle announced on Tuesday that it will invest $2 billion in artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure in Germany over the next five years.

The American technology giant stated that the investment will expand the presence of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in Germany as well as the artificial intelligence infrastructure in the Oracle Cloud region in Frankfurt.

This will allow more institutions in both the public and private sectors across Germany to access Oracle's services in the fields of artificial intelligence and cloud, including its latest capabilities in sovereign artificial intelligence and multi-cloud computing.

Thorsten Hermann, Senior Vice President and Head of Oracle in Germany, stated that through the company's plan to invest $2 billion in artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure over the next five years, Oracle is helping institutions across Germany accelerate their transformation in the fields of artificial intelligence and cloud.

He added, pointing out that Oracle reaffirms its commitment to helping institutions of all sizes and across all industries in Germany leverage artificial intelligence to drive innovation and achieve new potential for productivity and growth.
