Robinhood Appoints Zeke Vince as Global Head of Business Development for Institutional Crypto

New York — January 2026: Robinhood, the U.S.-based financial services platform known for democratizing access to financial markets, has appointed Zeke Vince as its new Global Head of Business Development for Institutional Crypto. Vince’s hiring marks a key strategic step as Robinhood expands its institutional offerings in digital assets alongside its successful retail crypto business.

In his new role, Vince will lead Robinhood’s efforts to deepen engagement with institutional clients—including hedge funds, asset managers, market makers, and other professional trading firms—driving growth in the firm’s institutional crypto business. He will be based in New York and report directly to Robinhood’s senior leadership team.

Zeke Vince brings more than 20 years of experience in financial markets to Robinhood. Prior to joining the company, he served as Managing Director and Head of Sales at B2C2, a global digital assets liquidity provider, where he focused on institutional client coverage and strategic sales initiatives

. Before that, Vince held senior roles in electronic foreign exchange (eFX) trading, including Global Head of eFX and Algo Sales at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He also held positions at major financial institutions including J.P. Morgan, Credit Suisse, and Bloomberg early in his career.

Robinhood’s move to hire an executive with deep institutional and crypto experience comes amid a broader push to strengthen its footprint in the professional trading space. Historically known for its retail-first approach to cryptocurrency, Robinhood has been steadily building capabilities to serve more sophisticated market participants.

The company has seen substantial growth in its crypto business: digital asset revenue has made meaningful contributions to its overall transaction-based revenue, reflecting increased adoption and activity from both retail and professional users.

This strategic focus aligns with Robinhood’s recent initiatives to expand access and infrastructure for digital assets. In 2025, Robinhood closed its acquisition of Bitstamp, a long-standing global cryptocurrency exchange, gaining access to more than 50 active licenses across Europe, the U.K., and Asia—an important foundation for serving institutional clients internationally.

Vince’s appointment comes at a time when Robinhood is also enhancing its product offering and global reach, including advanced trading tools, expanded asset lists, and regulatory compliance across key markets.

These developments position Robinhood to bridge traditional financial services with emerging digital asset markets, appealing to a wide range of investors and institutions.
