Pavlos Elpidorou Appointed Global Head of Brokerage at eToro

eToro has announced that Pavlos Elpidorou joined the company in early November as Global Head of Brokerage, marking a significant leadership addition as the platform continues to scale its global operations.

In his new role, Pavlos Elpidorou is focused on strengthening and expanding eToro’s global brokerage capabilities, with a strong emphasis on execution quality, operational excellence, and scalability.

His appointment aligns with eToro’s growth strategy as it continues to enhance its infrastructure and deliver a robust trading and investing experience to its worldwide user base.

Prior to joining eToro, Elpidorou spent more than six years at IG Group, where he held senior leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer and Head of Dealing, Turbos/Structured Products – Brightpool.

During his tenure, he played a key role in building and optimizing trading and operational functions, contributing to the firm’s performance and market positioning.

Reflecting on this period, Elpidorou expressed gratitude for his time at IG Group and pride in what was achieved, while sharing enthusiasm for the next chapter of his career at eToro.

Founded in 2007, eToro is widely recognized as the world’s leading social investment platform, with a mission to open global markets to everyone, everywhere.

Today, the company serves a global community of over 20 million users, who engage through its social feed to exchange investment strategies, share market insights, and connect with one another across asset classes.

eToro operates as a multi-asset platform, offering access to stocks, digital assets, and CFDs, supported by proprietary technology designed to combine investing, trading, and social interaction in a single ecosystem.

The platform continues to attract both retail investors and trading professionals, while also actively seeking new talent to support its ongoing expansion.

As part of its regulatory and risk disclosures, eToro emphasizes that CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage, with a significant percentage of retail investor accounts incurring losses when trading CFDs.

Clients are encouraged to ensure they fully understand how these products work and to assess their risk appetite carefully. In the United States, eToro currently offers cryptoassets only, with plans to expand its product offering in the future, subject to regulatory approvals.

With Pavlos Elpidorou’s appointment as Global Head of Brokerage, eToro reinforces its commitment to strong leadership, operational excellence, and continued innovation as it grows its global presence and advances its mission of making investing more accessible worldwide.
