GCEX Appoints Carmen Tan as Managing Director, MENA

GCEX has announced the appointment of Carmen Tan as Managing Director, Middle East and North Africa (MENA), based in Dubai, marking a significant milestone in the company’s regional and global expansion strategy.

Carmen brings extensive experience across the FX and digital assets sectors, with a proven track record of driving growth in highly regulated markets across the Middle East and Asia. 

Her strong regulatory expertise, combined with her multilingual capabilities and deep understanding of institutional client needs, positions her as a key strategic leader as GCEX continues to expand its international footprint.

In her new role, Carmen will lead the growth of GCEX’s VARA-regulated entity in Dubai, further strengthening the firm’s presence within the UAE’s rapidly evolving digital asset and financial services ecosystem. 

She will also focus on enhancing the client experience for institutional and professional clients, ensuring GCEX continues to deliver robust, secure, and efficient trading solutions.

 In addition, Carmen will play a central role in accelerating GCEX’s market expansion across Asia, leveraging her cross-regional experience and industry insight.
