BitOasis has appointed Jonathan Rigg as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding company Co-Founder Ola Doudin as the UAE-based digital asset platform enters its next phase of growth across the Middle East and North Africa.
The leadership change comes as BitOasis continues to strengthen its products, regulated footprint and regional presence while progressing with its integration into CoinDCX, which acquired the company in 2024.
Nearly a Decade Across Banking, Fintech and Digital Assets
Rigg brings close to a decade of experience spanning global banking, financial markets, fintech and digital assets.
Before joining BitOasis, he worked at HSBC and Deutsche Bank, primarily across prime brokerage and capital advisory. More recently, he spent around three years as Vice President, Commercial at Fuze Finance, where he was part of the company’s founding team and helped develop the business from its early stages.
His experience also covers areas including crypto infrastructure, OTC trading, stablecoin payments and Banking-as-a-Service, providing a broad background across both traditional finance and emerging digital asset services.
Leading BitOasis’ Next Growth Phase
As CEO, Rigg will lead BitOasis as the company expands its capabilities and continues developing its presence across the MENA region.
BitOasis said it has generated approximately $8.5 billion in spot trading volume and serves a customer base ranging from retail investors to family offices and institutions. The company has also served more than one million customers across the region.
Rigg said his priorities will include strengthening the company’s product offering and capabilities while maintaining a strong focus on trust and safety as the platform scales.
BitOasis has continued to broaden its regulated operations beyond the UAE. The company launched BitOasis Bahrain in May 2025 after obtaining a broker-dealer licence from the Central Bank of Bahrain.
The platform has also expanded its institutional offering through an OTC desk and has received regulatory approval for derivatives products that are moving toward launch.
Rigg’s appointment as Chief Executive Officer marks an important leadership transition for BitOasis as it continues its development under CoinDCX ownership and looks to deepen its position in the Middle East’s growing digital asset market.
