FP Markets has appointed Geo Nicolaidis as Head of AI Transformation, adding an experienced fintech and automation executive to lead the broker’s next phase of artificial intelligence development.
The move marks Nicolaidis’ return to the online trading industry after previously holding senior technology, product and operational roles at Deriv, where he was involved in building and deploying AI automation tools across several business functions.
Before joining FP Markets, Nicolaidis served in a number of leadership positions at Deriv, including Executive Director of its Cyprus office, Senior Product Manager and, most recently, Technical Product Owner for AI Automations.
During his time there, he combined operational leadership with product and technology responsibilities, giving him experience across both the business and technical sides of a global online trading company.
His background also extends into responsible AI and blockchain analytics. More recently, Nicolaidis has been developing independent projects focused on Bitcoin forensics, blockchain analysis and AI research through TrailBit Labs.
Nicolaidis’ appointment comes as FP Markets continues increasing its investment in artificial intelligence and data-driven trading technology.
Earlier in 2026, the broker launched FP Markets Intelligence, an AI-powered suite developed with Acuity Research that provides market sentiment analysis, trading signals, news intelligence and research tools for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 users.
As Head of AI Transformation, Nicolaidis is expected to play a central role in expanding the use of artificial intelligence across the company, supporting areas such as automation, internal processes, product development and customer-facing technology.
The appointment adds a dedicated AI leadership position at FP Markets as the broker continues to develop its technology infrastructure and integrate artificial intelligence more deeply into its operations.
FP Markets, founded in 2005, operates as a global multi-asset broker offering forex and CFD trading across several asset classes and regulated entities.
