United Fintech has appointed Stuart Billingham as Head of APAC, strengthening its regional leadership as the financial technology group looks to accelerate growth and deepen relationships with major financial institutions across Asia-Pacific. Billingham will be based in Singapore.
In his new position, Billingham will lead United Fintech’s commercial strategy and go-to-market activities across APAC, with responsibility for driving revenue growth, strengthening client partnerships and increasing adoption of the group’s financial technology solutions.
More Than 25 Years of Financial Markets Experience
Billingham brings more than 25 years of leadership and commercial experience across APAC, EMEA and the United States.
Before joining United Fintech, he served as Global Head of Consortia at Droit, where he worked with major financial institutions on industry-wide technology solutions. Earlier, he spent around a decade at IHS Markit, developing businesses from financial hubs including Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan.
His career began in trading and operations, including roles at Nomura and the London Stock Exchange, giving him experience across both financial markets and institutional technology.
United Fintech Strengthens APAC Operations
United Fintech has been expanding its presence in Asia for more than five years and currently maintains operations in Singapore as part of a wider international network spanning Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia.
The company connects financial institutions with fintech solutions across markets, banking and wealth management, with more than 250 institutions globally using technology from the United Fintech ecosystem.
Billingham’s appointment as Head of APAC adds extensive institutional and commercial experience to the regional team as United Fintech looks to expand its client base and strengthen its position across Asia-Pacific.
