Futures contracts for U.S. stock indices – for March delivery – showed a noticeable increase ahead of the opening of Thursday's session, marking the beginning of the quarterly and annual earnings season.

Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average settled near the level of 45,056.00 points, with an increase of about 0.37%. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 rose by approximately 0.52% or about 111 points, reaching 21,635.00 points. Futures for the S&P 500 recorded an increase of about 0.36%, reaching the level of 6,089.50 points.
