Bank of Japan Governor: The bank aims to achieve a sustainable inflation rate of 2%.

The Governor of the Bank of Japan (BoJ), Kazuo Ueda, told the Japanese Parliament on Tuesday that the Japanese central bank aims to achieve sustainable inflation at the target level of 2%, according to the overall Consumer Price Index.

Additionally, the Governor of the Bank of Japan clarified that when we talk about core inflation, we exclude one-off factors from the overall movements of the Consumer Price Index. However, this process can sometimes be challenging.
