FOREX.com Launches Seven-Day US Index CFD Trading in Japan

FOREX.com, operated in Japan by StoneX Securities, has launched weekend trading for US SP 500 and US Tech 100 contracts for difference (CFDs), extending access to major US equity index products beyond conventional market hours.

The new service allows eligible Japanese clients to trade these instruments seven days a week, with scheduled maintenance breaks, providing additional flexibility to respond to market-moving developments over weekends.

According to StoneX, the offering is the first of its kind in Japan for these specific CFD products, based on the company's review of domestic providers.

Johan Gade, Head of Retail Japan at StoneX, highlighted the growing demand for trading solutions that allow investors to react to global developments outside traditional trading sessions.

The announcement follows the company's earlier expansion of overnight trading for selected Japanese stock CFDs and knock-out options.

The launch underscores the broader movement toward extended-hours trading, as online brokers compete to provide greater market accessibility, enhanced trading flexibility, and more continuous risk-management opportunities.
