IG Group Holdings has announced the appointment of Kathleen DeRose as an independent Non-Executive Director of Jenkins Topco plc, the newly incorporated Jersey holding company that is expected to become the ultimate parent of IG Group following the completion of a proposed corporate restructuring.
The appointment was approved on October 29, 2026, and will take effect when the scheme of arrangement becomes effective. At that point, DeRose will also join the new holding company's Group Risk Committee.
DeRose brings more than 25 years of experience in international asset management, corporate governance and financial services. Her professional background includes senior leadership positions at Credit Suisse, Deutsche Asset Management and Scudder, Stevens & Clark.
She has also worked in academia, most recently serving as a Clinical Associate Professor at New York University's Stern School of Business, where she directed the FinTech Initiative at the Fubon Center for Technology, Business and Innovation.
Beyond her academic and executive experience, DeRose currently holds board positions at London Stock Exchange Group, Voya Financial and Experian, providing extensive experience in risk oversight, financial governance and strategic decision-making.
Her appointment comes as IG Group develops its corporate structure to support its international operations and portfolio of trading and investment businesses.
The addition of an experienced financial services director is expected to strengthen board-level expertise in governance and risk management as the group progresses through its restructuring.
