Born2trade has appointed Mateusz Żelek as Chief Product & Platform Officer, bringing the former CEO of RoboMarkets Polska into a senior product leadership role as the broker continues to expand its trading technology and platform offering.
Żelek announced the move on LinkedIn, saying he was joining Born2trade to focus on building, improving and developing the company’s product and platform capabilities. He started the new position in September 2026 after leaving RoboMarkets Polska.
Before joining Born2trade, Żelek served as Chief Executive Officer of RoboMarkets Polska, a position he had held since November 2024. His move marks a shift from executive management into a role focused specifically on product development, trading infrastructure and platform strategy.
Prior to RoboMarkets Polska, Żelek spent nearly six years at Match-Trade Technologies, where he built extensive experience in brokerage technology and trading operations.
He joined Match-Trade in 2018 as a Broker Support Junior Specialist before moving into a more senior role as Deputy Head of Dealing and Broker Support, which he held for several years. Earlier in his career, he also worked at Ebury, eFinco and HFT Brokers Dom Maklerski.
Żelek joins Born2trade during a period of active product development.
The broker has recently expanded its offering with prediction markets through the Match-Trader platform, alongside its existing CFD products. It also offers MetaTrader 5, a proprietary trading platform built on Match-Trade infrastructure, and copy-trading functionality powered by Brokeree Solutions.
His background at Match-Trade Technologies gives him direct experience with the infrastructure behind platforms used by brokers, making his expertise particularly relevant to Born2trade’s current growth strategy.
As Chief Product & Platform Officer, Żelek is expected to play a central role in shaping the company’s technology roadmap, improving its trading platforms and expanding the range of products available to clients.
Żelek joins a management team that already includes executives with experience from the wider brokerage and fintech industry.
His appointment adds both technology and brokerage leadership experience to Born2trade as the company continues developing its product ecosystem and competing in the global online trading market.
With Mateusz Żelek now leading product and platform development, Born2trade is strengthening its focus on technology, product innovation and the continued expansion of its trading infrastructure.
